How To Sketch Cartoon Animals step by step
Step 1
We will complete three cute little animals for this drawing of cartoon animals! These will contain a giraffe, chipmunk, and a cute raccoon. In this first focus phase, we will begin with the chipmunk. To start this little critter, we’ll start with the outline of the head. This will be drawn using tiny, curved, bumpy lines. These will make the outline of the head hairier and help make this chipmunk even cuter! Once you’ve completed this plan, we can move on to step two to count some more points.
Step 2 – Draw some facial characteristics for the chipmunk.
With the outline of the head down, we can directly start counting some facial points for this adorable chipmunk in this degree of our focus on how to draw funny creatures. First, draw a few small ovals for the outlines of the eyes. To give the chipmunk more personality, these will also have minor details, such as eyebrows above and around them. Next, draw a large nose below the eyes, then extend a few curved lines from the center of the base of the nose. These will form the smiling mug of the chipmunk, and you can complete off this area with sharp teeth sticking out. Next, draw the top of the tassel that will be needed.
Step 3: Now, draw the body of this chipmunk.
You are now ready to finish this cute chipmunk before adding more creatures for this cartoon animal design. We will draw the body of the chipmunk you have been working on to do this. First, draw a few small circles inside the eye contours. You can then draw his little arms holding the tassel, and you can also finish that tassel while you’re at it! The body will be drawn using a few curved lines, and the legs will be short and rounded with little round toes at the ends. Finally, please provide a little pointy tail to his back, and then you’re ready for step 4!
Step 4: Draw the next animal.
You’ve got the hang of it now! We will add the following animals for the next steps in this guide on drawing cartoon animals. You’ve seen in the previous steps how you can build up the different details to form the whole creature, so we’ll cover the remaining two animals with a little more minor detail.
Start by outlining the raccoon’s head. This one will also be drawn using curved lines to give it a smooth look, but it will be wider on the sides. You can then remove facial components such as the watches, nose, and jaws as they occur in the contact picture. Finish by drawing her little arms, and then we can add some final details in the next step.
Step 5 – Now, compose the final details of this animal drawing.
This fifth step of the tutorial will allow you to complete the raccoon while adding the final animal. First, use rounded lines for the raccoon’s body and draw its little legs and feet to complete the pose. Next, we will add the head of the little giraffe, which stands behind the other two animals. Again, you can use what you learned in the previous steps of the guide to draw this giraffe head. This means starting with the outlines and then adding facial details and spots to finish it off. With the three animals drawn, you can add your additional details! These can include other animals of your design or maybe a fun background for these animals.
